Jorge ā€œJ.Dā€ Cunningham

Game Designer and Author

Jorge (J.D) Cunningham is an author and award-winning game designer whose work spans AAA titles across PlayStation, Xbox, and OculusVR. He has also designed tabletop games for Funko, working with properties from Disney to DC Comics. His work explores the space where narrative and gameplay meet, shaped by an interest in atmosphere and the quiet weight stories carry through play.

His debut novel, Neon: The Velvet Debt, is a dark fairy tale set in the world of the Glitter Gulch. Neon is the first installment in the duology A House of Stolen Names. He writes stories for readers who enjoy dark fairy tales, imaginative worlds, and characters who find light in unexpected places, and hopes that somewhere along the way, readers find a home in the Glitter Gulch.
